Essential Resources for Local Illinois Schools

In the Time of Flu and COVID-19

Rochester Elementary School, one of the seven schools in Springfield Illinois, is part of the Lysol + FLUency program. The Kinsa smart thermometers help school nurses see the data of temperatures and allow alerts to be sent to the school of possible infection before it spreads any further. Lysol's cleaning products and Kinsa's thermometers and app helped these schools stop the spread of flu and became handy when COVID-19 made schools uneasy about in-person learning.

Cleaning Products to Schools in Need

Healthy classrooms stay healthy with frequent disinfection. The 200 participating Illinois schools are using Lysol to clean and disinfect their classrooms- an essential resource they didn't have access to for a long time.

"Even at the beginning of the school year, we moved the start of school back a week because we were having issues even getting our cleaning supplies and some things like that because things were on back order” - Melissa Lemay, School Nurse, Tuscola School District

More schools like the ones in Springfield need better access to these health necessities- disinfectants and thermometers. Join our list of corporate sponsors and be a part of Kinsa's solution to help more schools and communities with these vital resources.
